Could your business help support health and social care during COVID19?

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, the UK Government has issued calls to businesses to help support the production of key materials. We will list all calls as and when they are announced via this page so that they are easily accessible in one place.


The Government has set up an online form where businesses can let them know how they could help, whether it's providing medical testing equipment, medical equipment design, hand sanitizer, hotel rooms, transport and logistics, manufacturing equipment, warehouse or office space, expertise in IT/construction/infastructure/other important areas and more. You will need your company number to register, if you can help, please submit your form now.


The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is looking for organisations who can support in the supply of ventilators and ventilator components across the United Kingdom as part of the government’s response to COVID-19. If your business can help with the Prime Minister’s call for ventilator production, please visit to register your details or alternatively, you can contact the BCGH team for assistance.


University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire are currently appealing for any businesses who can supply goggles to frontline staff within the NHS. Goggles are a CRITICAL item for staff who are potentially coming into contact with the virus. If you'd like to enquire about supplying Goggles to the NHS, please get in touch with our team immediately.


The UK Bioindustry Association (BIA) has issued an urgent call for the supply of COVID-19 antigen testing kits. The kits include:

  • Swabs (Nasopharangeal)
    • No discoloration on the swab bud
    • Sterilised and individually wrapped
    • No calcium alginate swabs
    • No swabs with wooden shafts
  • Sample Vial (Glass 20.25 +- 0.25 x 47.25 +- 0.5 & plastic TBD)
  • Viral transport medium (COVID-19 transport medium)
  • Alcohol/Sanitiser Wipes
  • Re-packaging (storage/biohazard packaging)

There is also a requirement for swabs for PCR diagnostic testing.

The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) is looking for rapid sanitising technology to speed up the time it takes to clean ambulances to help in the national effort against Coronavirus and save lives.

It can take up to 45 minutes to clean ambulances once they have transported a patient suspected of having COVID-19.
