Free learning programmes for Social & Environmental Entrepreneurs, Charities and Community Organisations

The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) are currently recruiting for a number of programmes to help social and environmental entrepreneurs plus organisations with heritage projects. These programmes are free to attend and some include grant funding.

Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme

Want to join the 10th year of our biggest programme?  Looking to start, build or scale your social impact organisation in 2021?  Register interest in The Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme, jointly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.  Free learning, a grant and a mentor.  Plus you’ll learn alongside others in similar roles and become part of the amazing School for Social Entrepreneurs family.

Heritage Trade Up Programme

The School for Social Entrepreneurs brings you a brand new programme for leaders of heritage organisations, in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to promote and support a stronger heritage sector.

So, if you are looking to strengthen the financial resilience and governance capabilities of your heritage organisation? This fully-funded programme will offer eight months of capacity building support for a broad range of heritage sector organisations from across the UK.

We’ll support you to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes you need to develop enterprise models and deepen social and/or environmental impact. You will be part of a safe and supportive group of like-minded peers.

Key benefits:

  • Strengthen your organisation with our free learning programme: Eight days of learning between October 2021 and June 2022
  • Receive a £10,000 Trade Back grant that supports your recovery from the Covid pandemic.
  • Gain a network of peers, who will help you develop your plans and act as a sounding board.

Environmental Entrepreneurs

The School for Social Entrepreneurs, in partnership with the Co Op foundation, are running the Environmental Entrepreneurs programme for a second year – helping organisations with environmental aims to grow, become more robust and increase their impact.

Do you run a social enterprise or community based organisation that delivers an environmental impact? We can help you grow and build capacity,  develop sustainability and scale your impact.

Across 8 months of support, we’ll help you to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes you need to develop robust models and deepen the environmental impact. You will be part of a safe and supportive group of like-minded peers – committed to environmental causes.

The Environmental Entrepreneurs Programme will bring together the leaders from 15 organisations working in the West Midlands, Yorkshire and North East and the North West, offering them:

  • 6 days of cohort-based learning spread over 8 months
  • 3 Action Learning Sessions
  • Group and 1-2-1 coaching
  • Support network of like-minded peers
